You know it may be a bit clichéd to ask the question ‘what does it mean to lead a good life’ but it's importance is clear as we have been thinking about it and trying to come to conclusions for as long as we have recorded human thought. But believe it’s a question that now also carries with it the imperative of time given the problems we face as a global community.

We live in a global society with the ability to wipe people, animals and eco systems off the face of the earth either through poverty, war, climate change or exploitation and all through the click of a mouse.

  • Our choices and our inaction are not neutral
  • When we do not oppose we collude
  • When we do not choose fair trade, cruelty free or organic we condone exploitation, pain and suffering
  • When we look away or fail to ‘see’ bullying, torture, death and destruction it continues and we know somewhere through our shared consciousness that every day there is less good in the world

So put some good back into the world, every choice you make, every relationship you have will shape the world you live in and from your small corner of the universe you affect those all around you.
